North Carolina senior point guard Ivory Latta spread her arms, pretended she was an airplane and flew into her team's huddle prior to Monday's game against Connecticut. She bounced up and down as the officials awaited clearance to throw the ball up for the opening tip. She clenched her fists after making shots and she danced her way to the sidelines on countless occasions. Latta called it "staying loose," and she attributed the Tar Heels' dominating performance over the Huskies to their ability to do just that.
"We try to go into every game loose," Latta said. "If you go in all tense, that's when you start getting a lot of turnovers, that's when you start getting off focus of what you really came to do.
