A couple of weeks ago, the members of our Hamden Hall girls' basketball team had a task to write down team goals for the season. We ended up compiling a pretty reasonable list that included communication, a record over .800, shooting 70 percent from the free throw line as a team, and possibly repeating as New England Class D champions. As co-captain, I have confidence that we can accomplish every one of the goals. But the question is: Do we have the heart and drive to actually do it?
