Jury selection began Tuesday in Superior Court in Waterbury in the second trial concerning the town's 2004 eminent domain purchase of 77 acres on Tabor Drive on which a developer had sought to build 275 condominiums.
The day ended with few jurors being chosen, in part because "25 out of 30 people" questioned "knew in advance that they couldn't give up the next three weeks because of vacations or child-care issues because their children are out of school, said David Doyle, a lawyer with the Marcus Law Firm who is assisting outside attorneys from Updike, Kelly and Spellacy, led by David Monz, in the case.See the full content of this document
