In fine bodies of work, on view at Kehler Liddell Gallery through Sept. 27, Cook, a photographer, and McCarthy, a painter and printmaker, explore the spirit of brief moments, their subject matter disarmingly simple, both timeless and impermanent. Cook focuses his lens on the drama of nature's reality and the wonder of a fleeting moment.
