Those Italian-Americans who have raised voices against Vinnie Penn's new book, "Guido's Credos," obviously never had the pleasure of reading his column, (sadly, no longer published locally ) listening to Penn on the radio or seeing him do stand-up. Penn is an insightful, grounded, hardworking family man who loves and respects his Italian heritage and his religion.
As the book is not yet available I find it difficult to understand how anyone could call it "insulting and derogatory."See the full content of this document
