NEW YORK -- I am conflicted by the choice of UConn as the best team in the best basketball conference in the land. I do think the Huskies are a cinch for the Top 25 and ultimately an enviable seed in the NCAA tournament. But if the Big East is the preeminent conference in the country, as I was programed to believe Wednesday at the Big East basketball media day, then I'm wondering what I'm not seeing that the coaches/voters of the league poll are. Or vice versa.
