Summary
The hospice program for those nearing the end of their life and for their families has become a welcomed addition to health care. We are proud to be recognized, with Florence Wald, as two of the founders of hospice care in Connecticut and the United States. We were among the first board members of Hospice Inc., incorporated in November 1971. It later became The Connecticut Hospice Inc.
It is now in the news not for any issues of patient-family care. Its corporate office, its CEO/president, some of her senior executive officers, the chairman of the board and the board he directs are being questioned about the way they have been addressing their responsibilities to the staff and for business matters.See the full content of this document
