Historical Society Gets Grant to Help Replace Old Boiler

Summary


The town has received a $23,500 grant from the state to help pay for the replacement of an aging and inefficient boiler that heats the headquarters of the Cheshire Historical Society.

The grant amount represents half of the cost associated with replacing the boiler, which is estimated to be 40 to 70 years old, said Joseph Michelangelo, the town's director of public works and engineering.
