Higher Education: Grant Will Fund Quinnipiac Camps

Summary

Quinnipiac University's nursing department and Bristol-Myers Squibb Center for Science Teaching and Learning have received a $78,345 grant from the Connecticut 2008 Health and Education Initiatives Program. The grant will fund CT Career Connect and two summer camps for high school students who are residents of New Haven and Middlesex counties. The program encourages high school students to pursue careers in nursing, allied health and education to meet Connecticut's work force needs.
