Summary
Continued from C1 On Jan. 24 at 11:51 p.m. in a parking lot off King Hill Road in Mansfield, two undercover campus police witnessed Wiggins and Dyson pull into the lot in Wiggins' 1997 Honda Civic. After about 15-20 minutes, the officers approached the vehicle and found a bottle of vodka and a bottle of cognac inside the car. Wiggins was also cited for operating on a suspended license. His license had been suspended after he failed to respond to a seat belt violation citation in early January. Wiggins has since made restitution on that charge.
It was revealed afterward that a small amount of marijuana was found near the car, but neither player was charged because possession could not be proved. Wiggins and Dyson were subjected to drug tests by the university; Wiggins passed and rejoined the team on Saturday after being suspended for the prior two games. Dyson failed and is currently on a 30-day suspension.See the full content of this document
