Town officials are considering changes in the senior tax relief program that could put a few more dollars back in the pockets of older residents. An Allendale Drive resident, Rita Mahon, brought up the issue of changing the program to First Selectman Kevin J. Kopetz last year. Mahon also recently contacted Selectwoman Janet M. McCarty, who asked to discuss the topic at a Board of Selectmen's meeting earlier this month.
