Hamden Woman Dies in Mass. Car Crash

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- Police say a 75-year-old driver from Hamden, Conn., lost control of his vehicle and rolled over in Massachusetts, killing his 69-year-old female passenger. State police say the woman, also from Hamden, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 3:30 p.m. crash Monday in Foxborough, about 30 miles southwest of Boston.

The driver was seriously injured in the crash that occurred on Route 495 North. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. Police did not provide additional details on his condition.
