A newly formed set of committees charged with creating a Milford Hall of Fame where local historical notables can be recognized has members so influential in the city's recent history that they could likely also qualify as Hall of Fame inductees.
The group held a meeting Wednesday to talk about the process of determining bylaws, possible sites for such a hall, financing and ultimately will get to the more interesting part-identifying notables in history beyond the obvious biggies such as the Rev. Peter Prudden, credited with creating Milford when he led 54 families to settle here, and Ansantawae, who sold Milford's land and beyond to the settlers. People like Prudden, Ansantawae, Sgt. Thomas Tibbals, Gen.
