Guilford Art Center Gala Saturday Under Stars in Stonehenge Replica

Summary

Once in a "blue moon," a gala to raise funds for the Guilford Art Center, will be held Saturday at the Circle of Life Gardens on the estate of Bonnie and Jonathon Rothberg in Sachems Head. The event is being held in tents under the stars, to take advantage of the second full moon in the month of June, the so-called "blue moon." It will be set amid the granite sculpture by Stony Creek artist Darrell Petit, which emulates the ancient monument of Stonehenge.

Cocktails are at 6:30 p.m., with dinner, music and dancing following at 8. There will be a live and silent auction, the proceeds of which benefit educational programs for adults and children and ongoing gallery exhibitions at the center.
