Summary
Members of the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association will be taking part in a statewide census of bald eagle this month. Volunteers from the environmental group will spend Saturday morning patrolling the marshes of the lower Quinnipiac River, in the area bounded by Sackett Point Road and Universal Drive in North Haven and State Street in Hamden.
"The Quinnipiac has hosted an average of three eagles in recent winters," said Mary Mushinsky, executive director of the association. "Residents have spotted eagles in North Haven, Hamden and Meriden in the broader reaches of the river, where fishing is easy.See the full content of this document
