The town's Earth Day celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 26 at Hamden Middle School at 2623 Dixwell Ave. The family-oriented celebration will feature about 30 environmental exhibitors promoting Earth-friendly services, products and organizations, school recycling sculptures and landscapes, global warming collages and a display of recycled items.
A dozen free activities will be offered including face painting, a scavenger hunt, seed planting, wood-making project, portraits by Hamden High School students, coloring contest, decoupage water bottle vases and recycling games.See the full content of this document
