Summary
Nearly 600 high school seniors from Shelton and Seymour had to wait one more day to earn a tassel and diploma, as Mother Nature decided to put a damper on the original graduation day plans. The threat of rain forced the cancellation Tuesday of commencement exercises for both Seymour and Shelton high schools. Both have been rescheduled for tonight.
Seymour High School's ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. at DeBarber Field. Superintendent of Schools Tom Petruny said the event would be moved into the high school gym in case rain spoils festivities again.See the full content of this document
