A newly re-elected Republican state lawmaker from North Stonington announced Tuesday she is joining the legislature's Democratic majority-the first time in modern state history such a switch has occurred. "My voice is heard a lot more on this (Democratic) side of the aisle than on the other side of the aisle," a smiling Rep. Diana Urban said as she made her announcement with Democratic House leaders.
