On May 3, 10 adult, full-grown candidates debated each other about who among them should be the Republican candidate for president of the United States in 2008. At one point, moderator Chris Mathews asked for a show of hands by any of them who does not believe in evolution. Incredibly, U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback, Gov. Mike Huckabee and U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo all raised their hands.

Here we have so-called "serious candidates" for president who might just as well have doubts about the law of gravity. What kind of juvenile thinking is going on in their heads?
