Summary
NEW HAVEN -- Police don't believe foul play was involved in the death of a woman in the city's Annex section Wednesday, police said Thursday. The woman was discovered in a bathtub in an apartment on Terrace Street after a maintenance worker was summoned to investigate water coming through a ceiling in an apartment below.
Police initially described it as a "suspicious death" but an autopsy found no evidence of trauma, police said. While police were awaiting toxicology results, authorities said they suspect the death may have been a result of a drug overdose. Police did not release the woman's name.See the full content of this document
