More than five hours after it occurred, the only evidence of the violent car crash that rocked Route 81 residents early Tuesday morning was sand on the roadway, and the empty fire extinguisher in Suzanne Condie's yard. A three-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck, van, and an electric company's box truck sent three men, all described at the scene as having serious injuries, to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
