CLINTON -- In Harry Nixon's mind, the phony 911 calls, the strange little fires set with burning rags and the bogus call about an armed robbery all amounted to a single cry for help, police say. And police responded Wednesday afternoon when they tracked the New Haven man to a grocery store parking lot and arrested him.
For three weeks, Clinton emergency dispatchers have been receiving sporadic calls on the 911 emergency line, beginning with "hang-ups" and progressing to calls about fires that proved to be false.See the full content of this document
