Employees Fearful Due to 'Power-Hungry? Mayor'

Summary

The morale of Stratford municipal employees is at an all-time low, which is not conducive to a healthy and productive work environment. It's time to stand up concerning the intolerable conditions. I have always been supportive of the working person. In 40-plus years in Stratford, I have never seen a time when town workers have been so fearful, and I believe the blame rests fully on our power-hungry mayor and his inflated ego. James Miron has abused his power by using intimidation tactics on loyal employees. Something must be done immediately to restore employee confidence and reduce their stress.

The Democratic Party is known as the party of working people, but the mayor, a Democrat, has disregarded the fundamental principles of his party by afflicting the town's talented work force. Being a police officer or a firefighter is stressful enough without having to work in fear of Miron's desire to remove people of substance, talent and integrity as he has consistently done throughout his shabby administration.
