Regarding your four-part story about New Haven sports, we should all be supportive of professional sports here. The past is the past, and the people of New Haven County can direct the future. It's about more than baseball. It's about fun and we need more of it.

As a season ticket holder for the Cutters, it would be nice if the popular newspaper had an optimistic outlook, as we all do, for the future of our New Haven County baseball team. The Cutters are New Haven baseball, play at the historic Yale Field, and we all should be proud to support the family values philosophy of this ballclub.
