Summary


EAST HAVEN -- Claire Sabino was a familiar and friendly face in the area restaurant business, having worked as a cook in family- owned restaurants for many years. She raised not only her two children, Michael Sabino and Roseanne Rogers, both of East Haven, but helped with many of her nieces and nephews. She also was very close to her five grandchildren.

"She was like everybody's mom," said a sister, Mary Moniello of East Haven. "She raised a lot of her nieces and nephews. They all used to run to her, and so did I. She was 'Auntie Dolly' to everybody."
