Twenty-five Connecticut cities and towns, including East Haven, have been selected to use the new "optical scan" voting machines in this November's elections, state officials said Wednesday. Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz said the participating towns were chosen from 51 municipalities that asked for the chance to be in the first wave of communities using the new voting technology.
