The solemn mood at Amity Regional High school lifted somewhat Friday as students and community members learned that more than $30,000 had been raised in two days for the families of two students killed in a car wreck this week.
"What a day," said Superintendent of Schools John Brady of the steady influx of donations the school received Friday. "The tremendous outpouring of support really uplifted the spirit in the school.
