Disrespect for Workers and Families?

Summary

Regarding the letter "Too many trucks, workers on road repairs," it is obvious the writer, James Dwyer, has never had a vehicle coming at him at 70 mph with the driver talking on the cell phone or weaving in and out among trucks because he is late for an appointment. The reason they put as many workers out on the job is so they can get the job done as soon as possible, for their safety as well as drivers' safety.

For Dwyer to write "I don't think all those trucks are needed, slowing down traffic just for the safety of the few workers" is obscene and disrespectful to those workers and their families.
