Derby Man Gets 6 Years in Stabbing Cases

Summary


A Derby man accused of stabbing and seriously wounding two men last year in separate incidents was sentenced Monday to prison.

Stephan Coney, 19, in February entered a plea of no contest to two counts of first-degree assault. Under the terms of a plea bargain agreement, Coney was sentenced Monday to six years in prison, followed by five years of probation.
