DERBY -- School officials are grappling with disproportionate second-grade class sizes in the city's two elementary schools. Interim Superintendent of Schools Charles DiCenso said there are three second-grade classes at both Irving School and Bradley School; while Bradley School averages 15 children per class, Irving School is averaging 25 students per class.
