Summary
It seems clear that for a facility as venerated as the Derby Greenway, one dedication ribbon is just not enough. Mayor Anthony Staffieri will dedicate the Greenway at 11 a.m. Sunday and will cut a ribbon at the Division Street entrance to mark the grand opening of the trail. Then he will walk the approximately 1.7-mile trail and cut a second ribbon at the Main Street end of the walkway.
Next will be a walk to City Hall, he said, where a centennial clock donated by the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club was being installed this week at the corner of Main and Elizabeth streets in time for Derby Day, also Sunday. Staffieri said he will acknowledge the Rotarians' generosity in a brief ceremony.See the full content of this document
