Second Congressional District Democratic candidate Jim Sullivan took to the Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut Thursday to paint rival U.S. Rep. Rob Simmons, R-2, as a puppet of Texas Republicans' right-wing political agenda. "Who is pulling Rob Simmons' strings?" Sullivan said. "On important issues like Medicare and tax giveaways to the super-rich, he votes with (President) George W. Bush and (House) Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) almost every time."
