Summary
There has been a great deal of criticism leveled at Connecticut Light & Power Co. For the most part, this is simply unfair. Searching for a scapegoat and playing the blame game is not constructive or appropriate. While it may be reasonable to review CL&P's response to October's snowstorm, there are important points that ought be emphasized.
Having lived in Connecticut for more than 35 years, I cannot recall any serious snowfall while leaves were yet on trees.
