NEW HAVEN -- The West River Watershed Partnership invites area residents to its first West River Water Festival today in West River Memorial Park. The festival will be held in the Barnard Nature Center area, at Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Route 34. The event aims to engage residents the Hill, West River, Westville and Edgewood neighborhoods.
To kick off the day, Save the Sound is sponsoring a cleanup of the river area, 10 a.m.-noon. Water-related festivities for children and their parents will be 1-4 p.m., with learning stations, booths and exhibits, and a hands-on activities.See the full content of this document
