Summary
New Haven is having terrific budget problems and many have lost their jobs or had their hours cut. Yet, every time there is snowplowing or street sweeping or bulk trash collection, a shift of workers comes to East Rock Road at 7:10 a.m., parks leaving the motors running and hangs out to talk in the park. They have to yell because the motors burning fuel we pay for are making so much noise. It's a waste of city time and money, and very polluting. On Oct. 14, they were there one hour.
