Summary
The Northford Congregational Church will hold its Easter service at 10 a.m. and "Worship Lite" service from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. In addition, there will be a sunrise service at 7 a.m. in the Memorial Garden behind the Parish House. The Easter service will highlight trumpet player Lewis Buckley. During the service, flowers will be added to the large wooden cross to welcome and represent the new life offered by the Easter promise.
The new Worship Lite service provides a short, family-style worship with contemporary music played by local musicians. The service features shorter prayers and a shorter sermon. The church is working to connect to families and others who want to be a part of a service but feel the longer, more traditional services are difficult for families to attend or are difficult to schedule into their lives.See the full content of this document
