Hand-Madison coach Steve Filippone and the rest of his cubs ought to be pretty grateful that there are 48 minutes in a high school football game. For the first two quarters, the Tigers didn't exactly look like the defending champions in the Class M semifinal matchup with Windham Tuesday. But Hand regrouped in the second half and pulled away for a 35-14 victory at Ferrigno Field.

Third-seeded Hand (9-2), which is ranked 10th in the Register's poll, will meet Hillhouse in Saturday's final. The time and site will be determined today.
