UConn didn't shoot the ball very well, endured some first-half foul troubles and played poorly enough most of the night to lose one of those mid-December home bouts against a cupcake opponent.

But it was good enough on Monday night at Reliant Stadium to top Butler 53-41 in the national championship game. It's the third national title for the Huskies, all under Calhoun.
