Summary
Former President Carter has agreed to join the honorary board of the Albert Schweitzer Institute at Quinnipiac University. Carter served as the 39th president from 1977 to 1981. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for his international human rights activities. As president, he brokered the 1978 Camp David peace accord between Egypt and Israel.
