Summary

On Sunday, the fruits of her labor will be realized when more than 200 people participate in "Run for the Ribbons," a 5-kilometer race and 2-mile walk to benefit Y-ME Connecticut, a breast cancer education and advocacy organization in town.

The race starts at 10 a.m. at Tommy Sullivan's, 240 N. Main St., and proceeds to Supply Pond Trail.
