Summary
Jim Calhoun got whacked around a little Tuesday; his image, his ego, his cachet all took a hit in a 30-page report by the NCAA, followed by some harsh rhetoric aimed at the University of Connecticut's Hall of Fame coach from Dennis Thomas, chairman of the Committee on Infractions, during a national teleconference. I guess I was hoping, though not necessarily expecting, given the Type A personality involved, that Calhoun's only response would be to say that he and UConn accept the NCAA's findings and that it's time to move on.
He can't win this fight -- he doesn't deserve to win this fight, frankly -- and he's got nothing to gain by prolonging the matter.See the full content of this document
