With a friendly wave and a "How y'all doing tonight?" the man who once led the country strolled past a throng of onlookers and into Mory's Friday night.

Former President Bush, 83, arrived at the historic York Street tavern shortly after 6 p.m. to receive the Mory's Cup Award, given annually to an individual "judged to have been of conspicuous service to Yale," Mory's manager James Shumway said.
