Bus Helps Seniors Secide On a Drug Plan

Frank Stuban, 83, of Seymour, has attended at least four informational sessions on Medicare Part D, but has yet to sign up for a prescription drug coverage plan. "I still don't know what to do. It's so confusing. I don't think 10 percent of the people understand what they're doing," he said.

Stuban, along with dozens of Valley seniors, turned to the Medicare Part D bus Thursday for answers. The bus, which is run by the state Department of Social Services and is staffed by regional Agencies on Aging, offers one-on-one advice to seniors regarding their Medicare prescription plans.
