Summary
In regard to the article "Alcohol helps candidates connect with voters," forgive me for being a party pooper. My idea of bonding with any presidential candidate would be to have him or her join me for coffee at 6 a.m. on a Monday, then come to work with me for the day to see what I do, and perhaps pitch in, too. At the end of the week, we could collect my paycheck and the candidate could have a go at paying bills, buying groceries and filling up the fuel tank on this. If the nominee still has energy and money left over, we can go to the local bar of his choice -- because I don't drink -- and he can knock back a few, get foggy and call himself my pal.
