KILLINGWORTH -- A new recreational development plan for the town's Bosco property has been trimmed by $400,000 in total cost, and eliminates one field, from the $5.6 million proposal rejected by voters in 2003. Selectmen have approved the modified version of the original plan, both prepared by Clough, Harbor and Associates of Rocky Hill, after considering an alternative that eliminated a host of amenities but retained a relatively high cost.
The revised plan eliminates one multi-purpose field, but still provides residents eight playing fields, a skating area, picnic house, volleyball court, trails, and other recreational opportunities for a construction cost of $4.65 million.See the full content of this document
