Bonnie: I like these new Green Giant Health Blends as much for their educational value as their food value. Most of you learned in elementary school that carrots are good for your vision. But did you know that it's the vitamin A (or actually the beta-carotene) in carrots and the lutein in green beans (and kiwi fruit) that help your eyesight? The Healthy Vision contains beta-carotene-rich carrots, lutein-rich green beans and also zucchini. The Immunity Boost contains veggies rich in vitamin A and C, which help support a healthy immune system, and the Healthy Weight fiber-rich beans give you a feeling of fullness.

Each box serves two, has a very light sauce, and is modest in calories, fat and sodium. Specifically, a serving provides from 45 to 90 calories, 2 to 3 grams of fat, and 115 to 240 milligrams of sodium. I liked Healthy Weight -- with its unusual blend of carrots, snap peas, edamame (fresh soy beans) and black beans -- the best.
