Blake Leads New Haven to Shutout Victory

Summary


Dan Blake pitched seven innings, allowing no runs on four hits to help lead New Haven to a 10-0 East Coast Conference baseball win over visiting Concordia College on Wednesday.

Tom Rombilus went 3-for-4 with two RBI's for the Chargers, while teammate Kyle Bombace hit his first home run of the season that plated two runs in the eighth inning. Michael Moras finished 2-for- 3 with an RBI, with Chad Lemos, Kyle Donnelly and Evan Okon each driving in a run as well for the Chargers (10-12, 6-2). Dan Johnson and Mitch Rossi each pitched a scoreless inning in relief to close the game out for the Chargers.
