By Judy Birke NEW HAVEN -- If the current show at Artspace "Flock: 13th Annual City-Wide Open Studios Juried Exhibition" can be considered the opening act, one can look forward with great excitement to the main event.

Selected by jurors Patricia Hickson, a curator of contemporary art at the Wadsworth Atheneum, and Kristina Newman-Scott, director of visual arts at Real Art Ways, both in Hartford, the 47 inclusions in "Flock" are works that were submitted to Artspace's online gallery site for consideration in their current exhibit.
