HAMDEN -- A second man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of heroin in a Dixwell Avenue parking lot. Gregory Zurlis, 25, of 103 Carriage Drive, North Haven, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant that charged him with conspiracy to possess narcotics and conspiracy to possess narcotics with intent to sell, Capt. Ronald Smith said.
On Dec. 29, police stopped a car at Dixwell Avenue and Newton Street after seeing apparent drug activity in the parking lot of a Dixwell Avenue restaurant, Smith said. Officers say they found 23 wax folds of heroin weighing 8.4 grams inside the car and several syringes. Michael Zurlis, 27, was arrested at the scene.
