Even the rally organizers are tired of the antiviolence rallies. As New Haven's population copes with a string of recent shootings that left several innocent victims dead, they rallied Friday afternoon at the corner of Sylvan Avenue and Elliot Street demanding a cease-fire in the name of God. "I'm done. I'm rallied out. When I come out here and start patrolling, I'm looking for soldiers. Fall in behind me. The word is fall in," said Maurice Peters, 39, a poet who goes by the name Blest.
